About concentration

At this time, I recognize that I really have trouble in focusing on something. For example, when I intend to read some papers, when I sit on the desk, turn on my laptop and ... reading the newspaper from site-to-site. When surfing most of news agencies, I start to read and the time is gone. So I just have some minutes to read carelessly. How can I improve that?
Knowing a lot of theory seems meaningless. I need to practice. Let's talk about the solution, last time, before going to bed, I try to "ngoi thien". It can help me focus better. Tonight I will try this solution first.
About the time, I used to stay up late at night, my morning usually starts at 10h00 am. I need to go to bed earlier so that I could balance my sleep and improve my concentration.
